| hello all - long time lurker this is my first post on forums.belowcostsupplements.com. Many thanks to others for all the great information! If "Supplements" is the wrong category for this post just drop a line or move it mods! following a health scare I've been seriously considering various means of dramatic weight loss. Im looking for some input on differnet methods. I've done some research at Fitness.com and Mens Fitness and am considering possibly using the a supplement or herbal method like hoodia gordonii, possibly high intensity interval training, or some combination. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot to everyone. |

Depending on your health scare be sure to check with your Dr. before you start any program (exercise or diet).
If you want to loose weight and get in shape I would suggest a high protein, lower carb, moderate healthy fat (EFA) diet. Be sure to consume 4-6 meals a dey to keep blood sugar levels regular and protein levels constant.
As for supplements, keep it simple:
-I would suggest a protein powder that has 20-30 grams of protein with under 5 grams of carbs.
-A multivitamin like Optimum Nutrition's Opti-Men/Women
-Prolab EFAs
-EAS Myoplex MRP (meal replacement)
Cardio is great for heart health and to keep body fat low but make sure to weight train as well to maintain healthy levels of muscle and strong bones.
Continue to do research and make sure to check with your Dr. before starting any program. |
